Maps College, sponsored and managed by Pavoor Education Trust, which was founded with a noble vision to assimilate and synchronize tradition with modernity so as to build a band of professionals, well set with academic skills and social commitment. Maps provides quality education in various academic disciplines.

Maps was established in the year 2006 under the aegis of Pavoor Education Trust by the Chairmanship of Mr Dinesh Kumar Alva.

This is a method of teaching in which students are made to learn material and prepare lessons to teach it to other students. Teaching is giving lessons about a particular subject to a group of learners, while learning is gaining knowledge by studying, being taught and experiencing. The primary goal of teaching is to impart knowledge and to monitor change in behaviour while learning aims to understand and apply knowledge.The college exults it's achievement of recording a hattrick of securing ranks in three consecutive academic years 2023-24, 2022-23 and 2021-22
