About 500 participants including Trade union members, employees, employers, policy makers, researchers, academicians, politicians, ambassadors, and representatives from Non-government organizations NGOs are expected to attend. The conference will be held from 17th-18th September 2019.CONFERENCE THEMEThe theme for the conference is the Role of Workforce Towards Industrial Economy in Africa. CALL FOR ABSTRACTSAbstracts and papers are invited from Trade union members, employees, employers, policy makers, researchers, academicians, politicians, ambassadors, and NGOs. Papers from various perspectives should address any of the following sub-themes:1.Workers potential towards industrial economy2.Trade Unions in relation to workers’ productivity3.Social security issues4.Legal framework and policy issues5.Political environment in relation to workers’ productivity 6.Gender issues7.Science and technology 8.Social Welfare Health, Safety, Communicable and Non-communicable diseases9.Information and Communication Technology ICT10.Solidarity among workers ABSTRACTS FORMATTheoretical and empirical papers of high standards are expected to be submitted. The papers should be prepared in Times New Roman font 12 and 1.5 spacing.ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONAbstract or papers should be submitted via thtuhq@gmail.com. The deadline for submission of abstract is 15th July 2019. The deadline for submission of full papers will be 30th August 2019. All submitted papers should be handed to blind reviewers.
