Contact Person : Conference Coordinator ; Last Date for the submission of abstract : 19/02/2018; Alcoholic macromolecules such as polyethylene glycol PEG is considered as a good reductant for CrVI and, hence, can be used for water treatment for removal the high toxicity of chromate anion which caused carcinogen and mutagen symptoms since it is as a water-soluble, safety, non-expensive synthetic polymer. Therefore, the kinetics and mechanistic of reduction of chromic acid by PEG in aqueous media was undertaken with the aims to present a new promising technique in future technological industry for purication of wastewater.
