Intellectual Property is the key to the intellectual development of a country. The fast development in IPR has forced management approaches to change to open up with Global Economic Development. It not only requires protection of the IP rights but also requires providing right education about IP rights to the people. India has made lot of efforts to enforce implementation of IP rights and protect violation of IP rights knowingly or unknowingly. Indian Judiciary has also contributed in development of IP rights. They have adopted international conventions and rulings for the protection of trademarks, copyrights and patents in order to penalize infringers.This seminar aims to cater role of IPR in Global Economic Development by assuring security of IP rights among people on their creations. It will help beginners to learn about Intellectual Property Rights.
