Recently IIT Indore is ranked 13th amongst all engineering universities and institutions in India and a very impressive debut 2nd rank in India among top 400 global institutions and among top 50 institutions in Asia as per Times World Rankings. The Discipline for Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering (BSBE) at IIT Indore was initiated in 2012 and is a center of excellence that focuses on research in multidisciplinary areas of Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering. The BSBE group aims to be internationally recognized in bio-related research and aspires to create an ambience for the smooth pursuit of scholarly activities in research and training, leading to novel innovations, in addition to carrying out fundamental studies in life sciences.
