★Introduction:

The 7th IEEE Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2 2023) focuses on many innovative technologies and practical applications regarding “Energy Internet” and “Energy System Integration” (EI2 in abbreviation). EI2 couples multiple energy systems, e.g. electricity, gas, heating, cooling and transportation, with energy storage and ICT technologies, including cloud computation, big data analytics, internet of things (IoT), mobile internet, artificial intelligence (AI) and 5G communication applications, to promote the interconnection, openness, sharing and coordination of various energy resources and shape a green, low-carbon, efficient, low-cost and environment-friendly energy ecosystem.

The 7th EI2 conference will be held in Hangzhou, China from Dec. 15 to 18, 2023. This conference is co-sponsored by IEEE Power & Energy Society, Chinese Society For Electrical Engineering(CSEE)、Zhejiang University (China), Tsinghua University-Dept. of Electrical Engineering,, Hainan Institute of Zhejiang University, Taiyuan University of Technology, Tsinghua University-Energy Internet Research Institute, and Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School.

The conference will set various awards, such as the Best Paper Award and the Energy Internet Best Practice Award. The conference papers will be published by the IEEEXplore website and indexed by EI, and high-quality papers will be recommended to Energy Conversion and Economics, Energy Internet, Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy (MPCE), CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems (CSEE JPES), Applied Energy, and others.
