Description

Following the success of the past International Conferences on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (PRECEDE), the 6th edition, i.e., PRECEDE-2021, will be held during Sep. 18th- 20th, 2021 in Jinan, which is the provincial capital of Shandong and a historical city of China with over 3,500 years of culture.

It is our pleasure to welcome you to PRECEDE-2021. This international conference will be a platform to present new progress in predictive control of electrical drives, power electronics, smart- and microgrids, etc., exchange innovative ideas, promote friendship, and experience new culture. The conference will cover tutorials, keynote speeches and technical sessions on theory, analysis, design, test and applications in the aforementioned scope.

Predictive control is an important and advanced control technique to control power electronics converters and drives, which can be implemented with modern microprocessors at low cost, allowing them to solve the problems of difficult multivariable control. The use of predictive control offers a number of advantages: very intuitive approach, no need for linear controllers and modulators, simple inclusion of nonlinearities and restrictions, etc. Model predictive control (MPC), an attractive alternative to linear control and modulation, is the current state-of-the-art research, as well as a popular subject for academic and industrial research. It has been recognized by the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transaction on Power Electronics, IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics, etc., by several special sections dedicated to the predictive control of power electronics and drives, etc. We are pleased to invite you to join PRECEDE-2021 in Jinan, China!

★Paper Submission Guidelines

--The submissions must clearly state the objectives of the work, the significance in advancing engineering or science, and the methods and specific results in sufficient detail.

--All submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of six (6) printed pages including key equations, figures, tables and references without incurring additional page charges (maximum 4 additional pages with over-length page charge for an additional fee, if accepted) in the standard IEEE two-column conference format.

--The submissions will be reviewed using a double-blind peer review process to ensure confidentiality and fair review. Deviations from these essential requirements will be grounds for immediate rejection.
